October Blu Ray review

Note: This review is of the Blu-Ray, not the actual movie. The Reviewer is not related to the team behind the Movie or Home Entertainment Business. This is just a review for helping the potential Buyers.

Video Quality: October is presented on the Blu-Ray by Reliance Big Entertainment. The movie is presented on the widescreen ratio of 2.35:1 1080p full HD picture quality.

The details are very crisp & clear. Since, the scene moves back & forth between the Hotel & Hospital throughout the movie; it must have been tricky to balance the glittering appearance of the Hotel & the gloominess of the Hospital in the Blu-ray. But, it has been handled very well. The interiors, upholstery & ambience of the Hotel as well as the Hospital looks very good & detailed. The video quality compliments the cinematography of the movie

My score: 5 out of 5 for Video Quality

Audio Quality: The Blu-Ray comes with a lossless DTS HD Master audio 5.1 surround sound.

The sound volume was audible from the bollywood standards. I watched the entire movie at -33 level; compared to many masala flicks (which were at -42 level).  The dialogues were very clear. The “beeping” of the machines in the Hospital, breathlessness of the lead actress in hospital, people movement in the Hotel, sounds of the cutlery, cooking in the hotel kitchen are few of the scenes which shows the commendable audio quality of the blu-ray The scenes in the movie did not demand any major activities in the LFE department. The sound-mix is very good. Even, sound effects of the silence in the movie can be so good, I never knew it before watching this blu-ray.

On scale of 1 to 5, the Blu-Ray soundtrack will be 5/5.

Overall, the score is 10/10. It’s a must have for the movie lover.
